An Adventurous rescue
A shoplifting call was made recently but that led to the
rescue of a dog in Arkansas City, Kansas on Friday. It was sergeant Jason
Legleiter and officer Wade Hammond who responded to the call at a wall mart.
The store staffer told them that they had seen a dog hanging from a vehicle and
it needed immediate help.
The police department stated in their Facebook post that the
dog had essentially hung himself from the leash. According to them, the dog was
hanging from the leash motionless and it appeared to be deceased. Sergeant Legleiter
was quick to take an action and he quickly took his knife out and cut the constricting
collar to set the dog free.
The dog started showing more and more signs of life as the time passed and finally it appeared to have fully recovered from this accident. There is an ongoing investigation to see if the charges will be pressed against the owner.
Worst surprise ever
Some, well most of the surprises are good, right? If a
surprise goes wrong then it would be prudent to categorize it as a nightmare. Jennifer
Patterson was understandably heartbroken when she arrived at an animal shelter,
opened up a box, only to find out that there were ten puppies inside. Jennifer
is a Registered Veterinary Technician, from Patterson Animal Hospital and she
got pissed off for the right reasons.
Just because it was recorded on video which was shared online, all the puppies have now found forever happy homes after a little effort. It is her ultimate pleasure to share the video on the internet to urge people to get fully aware on this topic. She states that vet clinics can give you resources and options but dumping the poor creatures at vet’s doorstep isn’t fair at all. People should understand that all animals deserve respect and a chance at life so they should be treated better.
